Download report from the meeting

The first transnational project meeting took place in Spain by the coordinating school. The principals of the three schools together with the three project coordinators took part in the meeting: Mrs Marguerita Gomila Pons principal of IES Bendinat together with Marianela Hidalgo, Erasmus+ coordinator, Mr. Luciano Francesco Bagnato principal of Liceo Cavalleri di Parabiago together with Maria Giovanna Colombo, Erasmus+ coordinator, Mrs Kristin Nilsson principal of Atheneskolan (Sweden) together with Erasmus+ coordinator. On the first day we had the possibility to know each other since we had never met the Swedish teachers: each of us presented the school, its characteristics and the area in which the schools are situated.

On the second day we the Spanish Erasmus+ Coordinator, Nela Hidalgo, presented the main features of Erasmus+ KA219 Strategic Partnership in Education while the Italian Erasmus+ Coordinator, Giovanna Colombo presented the Project and the activities. We discussed about how to organize the different steps of the two years. We started to analyze the project in details in order to define the activities, the tasks, the budget. We also discussed about the products deciding in which period they had to be prepared, but the details will be discussed by teachers every time we have a meeting.

We later discussed the chronogram and calendar. It was quite complicate to get an agreement on the transnational meetings and the mobilities with students since each school has different schedules and period of vacation. For this reason we decided to change a little the period of the learning and teaching activities of the first year as follows:

  1. meeting will take place in Bendinat, Spain. One teacher and two students
  2. meeting will take place in Parabiago, Italy. two teachers and five students

The Spanish Principal, Margui Gomila talked about the Principal’s role with a particular attention to the Economic budget and the Mobility Tool. We also had the opportunity to visit the school and the area in which it is situated from the environmental point of view.

Tasks for the future meeting Finally we decided the students’ task for the first meeting. First of all each school will have a logo contest among the students, they will select the best five logos and send them to the coordinator. They will be shown during the first meeting and the best one will be chosen by a special jury. The students will also have to prepare some videos and some presentations on the environmental situation of each country with a particular reference to the climatic changes.
